Now that we are all getting a bit older - and there not many of us (1960’s era Missile Men) left - how about all the three ‘Honest John Missile Regiments 24. 39 & 50^th ’ join together as ONE, we could call our self:

‘The Honest John Missile Club’.

(BAOR 1960’s era)

Or something like that ???

There are some of the lads from 24 Missile Club joining 50 Missile Club, for their Reunion at Lincoln - is there any of our lads interested in joining the Reunion at Lincoln in May 2010, I know its short notice, But!

The Reunion is to take place on the 29th May 2010 at Charlotte House Hotel in Lincoln. (Click on Link)

People can come and get together on Friday 28th May and meet at the Lincoln Rugby Sports Club. (Click on Link)

Charlotte House Hotel - The Lawns, Union Road, Lincoln LN1 3BL, England

There are many more hotels 5 minutes walk from the main function hotel.

(Iain Jubbs ex 15 Bty., has organised this hotel and many other activities which you can go to. Many new faces will be attending including people from 51 Kabul Bty which is now an active Bty which has been taken out of suspended animation.)

Why!

I created this Website to try and keep alive the memories of all the people associated with the

39th Regiment RA

over the years - 1947 to Date.

Especially:

39th Missile Regiment, Royal Artillery

(Honest John Missile - 8" Howitzer Gun)

1960's era.

I myself served with the 39th Missile Regiment RA from 1959-67. That is why the site is called, the 39th Missile Regiment RA Website, 1960's.

But I'm covering all the years from 1947* to date.
